About Quantum Gulf Marketing
An Omani market research company, ten years in the Sultanate, owned by Omanis and managed with SMRC in Dubai.
Who is Quantum Gulf Marketing?
Quantum Gulf Marketing is an Omani market research company based in Muscat. It has operated in the Sultanate for more than ten years, is registered locally as a market research firm, and is owned by Omanis while being managed together with SMRC in Dubai. The company employs full-time Omani and expatriate staff, maintains its own panel of shops, and has delivered more than a hundred projects for over thirty clients including banks, fuel retailers, telecom operators and consumer brands. Fieldwork covers all eleven governorates of Oman, and the wider GCC through partner agencies in Dubai.
Too much Gulf research treats Oman as a sample top-up collected on the way somewhere else. A study designed in another capital does not know that Sohar buys differently to Salalah, or that a Friday count in one wilayat tells you nothing about a Tuesday in the next. Quantum Gulf Marketing was built to close that gap: a local company with local people, held to the standards of an established regional practice, with one senior person accountable for each programme from scoping through to debrief.

Oman deserves better than a sample top-up.
Too much Gulf research treats Oman as a few extra interviews collected on the way to somewhere else. A study designed in another capital does not know that Sohar buys differently to Salalah, or that a Friday count in one wilayat tells you nothing about a Tuesday in the next. We were built to close that gap: a local company, with local people, held to the standards of an established regional practice.
Six commitments.
A national symbol, surveyed.
The khanjar on Oman's emblem is normally drawn. Here it is measured instead: a medial spine, seven contour levels, outward ticks, a scale bar and a station register read off the geometry rather than invented. That is the difference between describing a market and surveying one.
All eleven governorates.
Not just the capital.
Fieldwork that stops at Muscat is not national coverage. Our team works every governorate of the Sultanate, which is what makes a sample representative rather than convenient.
Common questions
Who owns Quantum Gulf Marketing?
The company is owned by Omanis and managed together with SMRC in Dubai, whose team includes former GfK and MEMRB researchers.
How long have you been operating?
More than ten years in the Sultanate, registered in Muscat as a market research firm.
How big is the team?
Full-time Omani and expatriate staff, supported by a panel of shops and trained field interviewers across the governorates. Field capacity is scaled to the programme.

Our Oman fieldwork is delivered by our own team. Work outside Oman is delivered with our named partner agencies in Dubai rather than passed to an unnamed third party.
