Face to Face Surveys
In home, in street and at point of sale interviewing across every governorate, with interviewers who work in the dialect of the region.
What are face to face surveys, and does QGM run them across Oman?
Face to face surveys are interviews conducted in person, in home, in street or at the point of sale, with a trained interviewer administering the questionnaire. Quantum Gulf Marketing fields face to face research in all eleven governorates of the Sultanate, including Musandam, Al Wusta and Dhofar where remote coverage is a logistics problem before it is a research one. This is the mode that reaches the whole population rather than the connected part of it, which is why nationally representative claims in Oman still depend on it.

Fieldwork you can audit.
Sample points
Interview locations drawn against the frame, so the geographic spread is designed rather than left to interviewer convenience.
Brief and calibrate
Interviewers are briefed on the questionnaire and calibrated on the screener, because most fieldwork error is screening error.
Field with supervision
Supervisors accompany a share of interviews, and locations are verified rather than assumed.
Back-check and clean
A proportion of completed interviews are re-contacted and checked while fieldwork is still open, so problems can be corrected in the same wave.
